My Sad Vodacom story
I have been a vodacom contract client for over 15 years. During this time
we have had more than one phone on contract. I have never missed a
payment...ever.
I am emigrating. I have tried for the last 6 months to come to some
reasonable arrangement with Vodacom. They can cancel my free minutes,
they can downgrade my contract and I am prepared to pay a reasonable
amount in cancellation fees. Despite many calls and visits to the shop I
have still not received even the official amount I am supposed to pay in
(which i believe is a horrendous amount anyway.)
I have told them I am leaving the country and that my bank account will
be closed. Then there will be no more payments at all. Nope..they don't
care.
I hate unpaid debts but I am going to do it. Can't say i haven't tried!
The bloody phone isn't even working , I am not looking forward to taking
it in for repair!
