A short family history of how we got to South Africa:

Our origins are from England and we still have some family living over there. My grandfather was sent to India doing service for the British Indian Police (or British Army) and retired to farm in George South Africa in the early 1930's.
My dad (Richard Styan Newby)and his sisters (Ruth Newby and Sylvia Newby) were born in India and raised in George South Africa on a farm called Winton in the Blanco area. My mother (Pamela Ethene Du Plessis) was born and raised in George, South Africa.
